Code of conduct

Chemeet 2026 strives to organize a safe and productive conference atmosphere that produces and reaches the conference vision of creating a platform for knowledge transfer, collaborations. Chemeet treats all the attendees equally, and it is free of harassment and discrimination.

The chemeet code of conduct applies to all the participants attending physically and virtually.

  • While we encourage open discussion and debates which are the important elements for interaction and networking, we request and expect all the participants to have this networking opportunities without any discriminations.
  • Chemeet doesn’t tolerate and encourage any discrimination or harassment of any kind all the scientific and social activities of the conference.
  • Harassment and discriminations include Physical contact, Bullying, Stalking, Sexual advances, asking for sexual favours. This also includes any unwanted attention that creates a threatening environment.
  • Other forms of behaviours like involving in biased and demeaning comments, and discrimination on race, ethnicity, origin, martial and veteran status and other similar aspects will not be tolerated.

The participants can report or inform any such behaviours to the Elanva team or to the conference chairs. The committee of Chemeet shall retain the rights to cancel the registration of the participant if he/she disagrees/breach the code of the conduct.
